Fix / Replace Shower Valves

Valves can become clogged over time, blocking some or most of the water flow to the shower head. Low pressure can also be caused by a leak or other issues, so work with a professional plumber to identify the cause of your pressure issues. Sudden temperature swings in the shower aren’t enjoyable.

R

Rubber rings and parts around the shower valve may need to be replaced, as these shower components are susceptible to breaking and corrosion damage.

R

Improper shower valve installation. Sometimes this does happen when the shower valve is installed upside down. Most of the time it is an easy fix to rotate the shower valve to the correct position.

R

Shower knobs can crack over time. Parts will have to be ordered for the knobs but can save the customer money with not having to buy a new shower valve.

R

Cartridges can go out over time.

Tip: How to tell if the cartridge is bad

  • Dripping or running water when the water is turned off (most common)
  • Difficulty turning the shower handle, it will become worse over time.
  • The shower handle gets stuck and the water will not turn on
